A complete high-mast lighting system consists of the following components:
Pole: The main structure, typically a conical or polygonal pyramid-shaped steel structure.
Light Panel: Located at the top of the pole, the frame structure for mounting multiple lighting fixtures can be circular, regular polygonal, or have a functional sub-frame.
Lifting System: This includes an electric hoist (or manual winch), wire rope, a dedicated pulley system, and a release mechanism. It is the core functional component.
Lighting System: This includes high-power LED floodlights, electrical ballasts, triggers (if applicable), and a power distribution system.
Electrical System: This includes the base distribution box, aviation obstruction lights, and cables.
Lightning Protection System: A lightning rod is installed at the top of the pole, and the pole itself serves as a down conductor, providing a reliable connection to the earth ground grid.
Foundation: The massive concrete foundation that supports the entire high-mast lighting system.
